- The safe use of small stakes (not to exceed 10 inches in length) is allowed in parks. All other staking requires an application and permit issued by the Metro District.
Prohibited Activities
The following are prohibited at Highlands Ranch Metro District parks:
- Littering and dumping
- Fires, except in grills
- Fireworks
- Open carry or discharge of firearms
- Archery, paintball, pellet and BB guns
- Golf
- Model rockets, airplanes and drones
- Camping without a permit
- Harassment of wildlife
- Glass
- Motorized vehicles (Class I and II e-bikes are allowed)
