November 2026 in Highlands Ranch: Concerts, Holiday Markets, Rec Closures & Pre-Winter Home Tips
The November 2026 HRCA newsletter pairs holiday concerts and artisan markets with two big updates: a digital monthly newsletter in 2027 and a December name reveal for Backcountry Wilderness Area. Here is every November event, swim registration date, rec closure, and pre-winter home tip.
2027 Digital Newsletter Shift, Backcountry Name Reveal & Colorado Gives
Starting in 2027, HRCA is moving its monthly newsletter to a digital edition emailed to members and posted on HRCAonline.org. Printed pickup copies will stay available at all four HRCA recreation centers, residents can submit an online form to request mailed delivery, and the printed Activity Guide will still arrive every four months.
- New Name for Backcountry Wilderness Area: This December, HRCA will unveil a new name for our 8,200-acre Backcountry Wilderness Area and trail system while preserving its wildlife conservation and outdoor programs.
- Colorado Gives Day (Tuesday, Dec. 8): Schedule early gifts at ColoradoGives.org for day-of matching supporting Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association, Backcountry Wilderness Area Fund, and Highlands Ranch Community Scholarship Fund ($2,500 senior scholarships).

HRCA Pre-Winter Exterior Checklist & ARC Reminder
Before hard freezes hit, HRCA recommends clearing gutters and downspouts so snowmelt drains away from foundations, securing loose fence posts and gates, sealing cracked caulk or peeling paint, checking weatherstripping, and disconnecting garden hoses. Like-for-like upkeep generally counts as routine maintenance, while changing paint colors, materials, or layouts requires prior approval—see our guide to HRCA Architectural Review Committee exterior approvals, or browse Highlands Ranch homes for sale near your favorite rec center or trailhead.
